New giant of Dignity!
After great personalities like Erasmus, Philip the Good, and Jacques Brel, Brussels will soon welcome a new giant! 🏰đźŽ
There are now more than 100 in the Brussels-Capital region. The giants of Brussels are a living folklore tradition and a valuable part of our cultural heritage. These imposing figures bring stories to life and unite generations.

Join us in building a new giantess of Dignity!
In order to give more visibility to our actions in support of undocumented people in the near future, we are working on creating a truly new giantess for Brussels. The government wants to crack down on undocumented people. It plans to build new detention centers and imprison more and more innocent people to deport them to their countries of origin. A strong and clear voice of opposition is therefore more necessary than ever!
We would like to build a giantess modeled after Sabine Amiyeme, a passionate hairdresser who, after more than 15 years in Belgium, was imprisoned and threatened with deportation to Cameroon. She was freed after her family, friends, and supporters stood up for her.
Sabine the Giantess will take part in processions, awareness campaigns, and demonstrations. Her schedule already includes her unveiling at the Festival of Dignity on May 3, as well as an action focused on undocumented workers in high-demand professions at the Béguinage Church this spring. Between her engagements, she will be permanently displayed at Béguinage Church, where her story will be shared.

A giant who makes dignity grow!
Goal 1: For €3,000, we can provide her with a giant body and limbs, wheels to move her, and hinges to tilt her head so she can enter the church and be displayed between her actions and events.
Goal 2: For €4,000, we can give the giantess a beautifully crafted head, artistically modeled after the real Sabine Amiyeme.
Goal 3: For an additional €1,000, we can beautifully design the giantess’s outfit, including an imprint with the slogans:
“They wanted to bury us, but they didn’t know we were seeds” and
“They locked me up, but they didn’t know I would return much bigger and stronger.”
Goal 4: With €2,000 more, we will welcome Giantess Sabine with a grand celebration.
