The play La mirada del otro(The Other’s Gaze) is part of a trilogy that emerged from a decade of in-depth research, artistic creation, and pedagogical efforts by Project 43-2, a collective founded by María San Miguel. This work delves into the complexities of victim-offender mediation and restorative encounters between former ETA members and the families of their victims in the aftermath of the violence and terrorist acts in the Basque Country. Through intimate and thought-provoking dialogue, the play explores themes of accountability, healing, and the human capacity for transformation. By shedding light on these deeply personal yet socially significant interactions, La mirada del otro offers a powerful perspective on restorative justice in cases of political violence and terrorism, ultimately contributing to the promotion of a culture of peace. This performance is financially supported by the restorative justice service of the Government of Navarre, and it is hosted in the House of Compassion, a thematic church dedicated to justice in the city centre of Brussels.

Ticket information

• Event included in the Festival Pass (40-200 EUR). Pass holders may use the code received in the confirmation email to book a seat.

• Individual tickets (12 EUR) can be reserved below. EFRJ members can log-in with their credentials to receive a 50% discount (6 EUR).

• Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis (up to 80 seats).

Passes, tickets, and registrations are necessary to ensure participation and commitment, to manage seat availability, to help cover the festival costs, and to support the EFRJ as a whole. That said, attending should never become a financial obstacle. Our goal is to keep the festival accessible and celebratory.
