Kafka and migration
Did you know that sometimes a valid visa is not enough to move to Belgium? There is abuse of power within several services, with migrants being placed in detention centers for fallacious reasons. In addition, the conditions for family reunification are becoming stricter and bureaucratic rules also lead to unjust situations.
A UCL student and two experts, come to testify about problems that arise in regular migration.
We will then present the exhibition “Faces of Exile” in the presence of artist Andrée Vos. She will testify with beautiful text and paintings about her experience of receiving refugees.
